Service Dept. Service Analyst/Service Engineer for Large OEM Service Team member:

  • 70% exceptional customer service, professionalism and tact
  • 30% technical (Electrical Motors knowledge/ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and information/ Technical job specifications)

 

Desired skills and background:

  • Technical background and/or the ability to quickly learn and thrive in a technical environment
  • Customer service background, or the ability (and desire) to learn how to serve customers with extreme professionalism and tact
  • Assertive, but with a calm, even demeanor under stressful—often very stressful--conditions
  • After training and after obtaining sufficient experience the ability to work independently and without close direction
  • If necessary, willingness to work overtime to ensure that the job is done and done completely and correctly
  • Desire for a stable, long-term position, including a desire to grow with the company; not looking for those who only want training/experience in order to obtain another position
  • Ability to perform several different tasks--at the same time; quickly switching from one to another, as conditions dictate
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Excellent phone skills
  • This is a “social” position; the successful applicant must be comfortable constantly interacting with many people, both in the US and abroad
  • A good, positive attitude, showing initiative are absolutely essential
